Opened for play in 1994, Caledonia Golf & Fish Club is a public golf course located in Pawleys Island, South Carolina. The course consists of five Par 3's, 10 Par 4's and three Par 5's and plays to a maximum distance of 6526 yards with a Course Rating of 71.8 and a Slope of 138 over 18 holes. Four choices for men's tees and two choices for ladies' tees provide an enjoyable test of golf for players of all abilities.

No Driving range means you can't rate it 5 star. Layout is great and the course was in terrific shape. Started on 10, and that meant that nine was our last hole, which is kind of a bummer since it is a short par 3 to finish, and not a very memorable hole (unlike 18).

The course only has a practice area with a couple of chipping greens. The full range is across the road at the sister course True Blue. Caledonia is a course that makes you feel like you were playing Augusta with the tall pines and pine straw. While the course plays short, don't underestimate the bite it has. Greens are very undulated and penalize those who miss in the wrong area. A Mike Strantz design that rewards the shotmaker.
