Opened for play in 1998, On Top of the World Golf Course, Tortoise & Hare is a private golf course located in Ocala, Florida. The course consists of five Par 3's, eight Par 4's and five Par 5's and plays to a maximum distance of 5722 yards with a Course Rating of 70.3 and a Slope of 118 over 18 holes. Four choices for men's tees and two choices for ladies' tees provide an enjoyable test of golf for players of all abilities.

Rental services are available including pull carts. The practice area at the facility includes separate chipping/putting greens. Food and beverage options include a full service restaurant.
