This was the Elk’s tournament, a scramble. I played with Tom, Tom Shaw an Ray Mayer. It was a sunny, hot day. We started on 8A. Finished two over par. Never did hear or I forgot what the winning team shot. Steak dinner at the lodge. I won a tip board for $60,a nice surprise. My door prize was a dozen Titalist DT Solo golf balls. Attendance was definitely down a lot this year. It used to be you had to be at the lodge on the first day of entry to get in.
